I’m ready to book my photo shoot. What’s next?
Simply contact us and we’ll respond generally within 24 hours with an outlook of availability. Either the sitting fee or reservation fee (for events) is required in full in order to be placed on the calendar.
I have tummy rolls/cellulite/acne/eye bags etc., can you fix that?
While we’re not big believers in editing you past the point of recognition, between editing, great posing, light and amazing stylists, we’ll take care of you. You can view the Before + After gallery for some examples.
What should I wear?
All of our sessions (with the exception of Head Shot Days) include a consult to discuss your wardrobe and design your session.
How far advance do I need to book?
Depends on the time year, but we generally book anywhere between 1-3 months out.
How long before I see photos from the session?
We will do a Reveal of your images with you back in the studio about 1-2 weeks after your session. In cases where you reside a reasonably long distance, we can make arrangements to do your Reveal via Skype.
Do you ever shoot on location?
Yes. Depending on your shoot, we’ll determine if there will be an added fee to either add a location to your session or just shoot at that location period.
Can I bring a friend/significant other/child to my shoot if they’re not part of the session?
Because of the private nature of our studio and the ability to provide you with the best possible images, we do not allow third parties or children to hang out at the studio during the session.
I would like to use my own stylist for my session. Can I bring them to the studio or get styled beforehand?
Due to past experience with stylists who may be a great choice for everyday styling or special events, we’ve found not every stylist has the knowledge/skill to style for a photo shoot. Because of that, we no longer work with stylists who haven’t be pre-approved to work with Trish Hadley Portrait.
Do you photograph children or families?
We do not, however we’re happy suggest photographers that specialize in children and/or families.
Do you shoot weddings or couples?
Couples—yes, weddings…no. We will do engagement shoots and elopements, pricing falls under what we charge for a normal Portrait Session (if doing studio) or a Destination Photo Shoot. Please note, shooting includes that of couples only, not the inclusion of children or family members.
Can I include my pet to a Beauty Shoot?
In most instances, yes, however we would require info in advance regarding doing so. Specifically, circumstances regarding whether it’s a horse, dog, cat etc. and whether it needs to be done on location vs. being at the studio.
How long does a portrait shoot take?
It varies because of many factors (styling, possible locations), but generally anywhere between 3-4 hours. Our Head Shot Days time slots generally take 1 hour.
What if I don’t like my images?
If for some reason you don’t like any of the images from your session, you’re not obligated to purchase anything. Unlike most studios, we don’t make you commit to a package before you’ve seen the images.
Do you do Senior Portraits?
Yes. For the most part we cater to women but if a female high school student wants our photography for her Senior pics, that’s fine.
Do you ever do full portrait shoots with men?
Yes, most often for Personal Branding Sessions.
Where is the studio?
Our address is 414 Court Street, Saginaw and located across the street from MLive in a historical district. The door to the studio is located between Adomaits Antiques and Little House Antiques.
I’m still on the fence on whether or not I’d like to book. Can I just stop into the studio sometime?
While everything done at the studio is by appointment only, we can’t take walk ins. However we’re more than happy to set up a time to either chat with you on the phone or for you to come into the studio. There is no obligation to book a shoot if you choose to do this. Simply drop us an email if you are interested in setting that up.
